In the past, Moriah worshiped the ground that her sister-in-law walked on. She owed a lot to her brother Ethan Plath’s wife for showing her everything she was missing out on in life.
But this season, fans see a different side to Moriah and are not sure they care for it. Not only has she turned against Olivia, but she also seems to have convinced her entire family to do so. They feel completely blindsided by the Plath family’s attitude towards them.
Ethan says he is furious with his siblings for going behind his back. He can’t believe they used social media to attack her. He feels there were other ways to handle the matter.
Their issues began last season after his wife seemingly outed his mom, Kim Plath. During her Welcome to Plathville Season 4 finale confessional, Olivia accused Kim of using Ethan’s credit card. So, she changed Ethan’s PIN, which made his mother furious.

Now that more details about the credit card incident have emerged, fans feel torn over which side to believe. Following the premiere, many seemed to lean towards Olivia Plath. Another thing fans find disturbing is Barry Plath’s brainwashing comments.
Others don’t care for the way Kim appears to be satisfied with her daughter-in-law’s downfall. That and Moriah and Micah being so quick to defend their mom all seem a little suspicious. Moriah has yet to win any bonus points with viewers. Many believe she may have a strong motive to boot her former friend from the family. Since the start of the series, the main focus revolves around Olivia’s battle with Barry and Kim. This has brought Ethan and Olivia tons of attention, on and off camera. Because of this, fans feel she may do anything to get her out of the family and off the show.
