Sister Wives star Kody Brown seems to struggle now that one wife left and another just kicked him out on a recent episode of the TLC show. So this week it seems that he conveniently places his wives into categories that set off another bout of fury for the fans.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Tucks Wives Neatly Away
Kody Brown seems to demonstrate a variety of emotions now that his polygamous marriage continues to fall apart on the screen. The man who once boasted four wives is down to two so far this season.
So, the Sister Wives patriarch goes from sorrow to anger. Kody does this as he talks about how he was done wrong by two of his wives. But he also does something else as well.
Last week he attacked Janelle Brown for various things including blaming her for the demise of this family. Janelle sees Kody making all the same complaints he made about Christine Brown, but this time they’re directed at her.
This week Kody seems to find another way rather than shooting derogatory insults their way. He puts his Sister Wives brides neatly into two categories.
Those who had something he wanted, so he courted them. And then those he didn’t have a courtship with, requested that he marry them. To fans, this sounded awful, like he assigned them into categories.
It seems coincidental to fans of this show that both Janelle and Christine fit neatly into one of Kody’s categories. And the fans don’t like it. Neither does Janelle nor Christine for that matter.
But Janelle did shed some light on this. She said, “It’s improper for a man to be out chasing wives.” So, this request to join a family is often carried out this way by a woman wanting to join a plural marriage.
Janelle questioned what Kody was saying here. She wondered if somehow he thinks that because “Christine and I asked (to be in the family) we deserve less.”
Kody Has a Lot to Say
While Kody Brown talked with his two friends and his brother on Sister Wives, fans became confused. One minute he says he didn’t respond the way he should have to Christine when she told him she was unhappy in polygamy.
For a minute there, the fans thought Kody was taking some of the responsibility for her split. But that was short-lived.
Then he goes off on how he was wronged. But this week on Sister Wives, Kody points out that his wives came to this family in two different ways. Two of the women he invited into his polygamous marriage, and he courted them for that purpose.

In other words, he pursued them. But the other two came to him and asked if they could join his family.
The two who asked him to marry them and bring them into the Sister Wives family are Janelle Brown and Christine Brown. So, fans want to know why he needed to bring this up now.
Sister Wives: Meri Brown & Robyn Brown – His Choice?
In the new Sister Wives episode, Kody tells the viewers that he courted only two of his wives, Meri Brown and Robyn Brown.
But he didn’t go through the courting ritual with the other two. So, now the two he didn’t court are the two wives leaving him. And the Sister Wives fans think he is conveniently using the way these two became brides to build himself up a little.
But he fails to mention all the reasons given by Christine and Janelle as to why they left him. He didn’t mention the demeaning comments he made about these two women on national television.
Or how these two Sister Wives brides feel that Kody has a favorite wife. So, because of that, they get very little of the shared husband’s time.
But it appears Kody Brown makes an issue out of the wives he courted and the ones he didn’t for a reason. Fans see this as the man who once had four wives trying to save face now that he’s down to only two wives on the TLC show.
