This season of “Temptation Island” has had social media users talking!
Redditors seemed to have all band together to share their frustrations over Hall. They have collectively decided that Hall is the villain.
Redditors Talk Openly About Their Thoughts On Hall On “Temptation Island”
To catch everyone up to speed, Hall arrived on the island with his fiance Kaitlin. They were together for 8 years, although Hall broke up with her a few years in so he could date other women, but then went back to her to try again. They thought signing up for the experience on the island could help them strengthen their relationship as well as help Kaitlin figure out why she was dragging her feet in the wedding planning department.
But sadly, that’s not how things went down for the show’s first ever engaged couple. Hall broke up with Kaitlin after the video messages because he claims to have found what he’s been looking for in her in another woman, Makayla.
Now that you’re caught up, let’s talk about what Redditors have to say about Hall.
“Soooo, I can’t with Hall…or Mikayla. All the singles didn’t expect to come to find their soulmate on the island, but shockingly every single one of them has? OMG, please stop. Hall is sadly buying into this and saying he is ‘in love’ with Mikayla and referring to the two of them as an ‘us.’ Like they’ve been together for ten years. When he talks, it’s like he’s auditioning for “sleezy guy #3? in his own movie. He has alterior motives. Every single thing he does and says is overblown and full-on stage 5 CRINGE. He is so fake, it’s not even a big enough word,” opened the conversation on the social media platform.
More than 85 comments filled the convo, and it seems pretty unanimous that everyone thinks Hall is the villain.
One person pointed out his selfishness, saying, “Everything he says is also about him: ”she makes me feel special,’ ”I’ve never been loved this way,’ me me me me.”
Another person wrote, “I literally yell at the screen when he’s on screeching his bullsh**. It’s literally unwatchable. I despise him more than anyone else I’ve ever seen on this show and I’ve watched since back in the early 2000s!!!”
That’s Not The Only Convo On Reddit That’s All About Hall
In another thread, a Reddit user said Hall is love bombing Makayla.
“I had to remind myself of the definition of love bombing lol the action or practice of lavishing someone with attention or affection, especially in order to influence or manipulate them. He could be manipulating Makayla for several reasons so yea, it makes sense,” they wrote.
In another thread, some people discussed the time Hall left the girls’ villa as the girls comforted an upset Kaitlin after he dropped the bomb on her that he’s done with their relationship because he’s found the perfect person for him.
“I love at the fire pit ‘her calling me selfish is making me look bad’ ????? Okay, dude. Sure,” one Reddit user wrote. Another person added, “I hope Hall ends up heartbroken in 10yrs after Mikayla takes all the kids, the money, and the house. Meanwhile he can cry himself to sleep in his AARP enrollment paperwork. ?”
In another thread all about everyone’s favorite “TI” villain, one person talked about Kaitlin being the real winner here. “Kaitlin was the real ‘winner’ of the season. Losing him as a fiancé will open so many doors for her. Happy for her.”
Because there are so many different threads all about Hall, in another convo, one person wrote, “I hate this guy. We have seen terrible partners on this show before, but this guy’s brand of terrible is the worst. He tries to come across as this nice guy who just wants a family and a white picket fence, and he is actually just a selfish jerk.”
The Hall-Hating Didn’t Stop On Reddit
On a video clip that TemptationTV shared on Instagram, a few people left comments specifically about Hall.
One person wrote, “Hall is a joke ?,” and another said, “Hall looks like a serial killer with his starring and strange obsessive comments.” One other person added, “Hall gives me the ick.”
In another video clip shared on Instagram had more negative comments about Hall.
Paris hopped into the comments to say, ” You in love already ? ??? less than a month is crazy.” Great, who Paris came to the island with, also had something to share in the comments, “You are inspiring @halltoledano ??.” Clearly these two are not seeing eye to eye on the topic of Hall.
One viewer pointed out, “IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE THAT CAME ON A SHOW TO TRY AND BREAK UP A RELATIONSHIP LOL.”
Another viewer has a wish for Hall, “I hope she breaks his heart ? the same way he broke Kaitlin’s.”
