The “Stronger” rapper allegedly got rid of a chunk of his team, and when we say got rid of, yes, we mean no long. Working there, according to Radar Online, he is working towards achieving the best team. He is said to be dropping a lot of money on ex-American Apparel founder Dov Charney to help his company flourish.
Radar Online is sharing that Ye has dropped paid staff and replaced them with interns, dozens, in fact, seemingly enough to keep a fashion house afloat.
Ye Is Doing What He Needs To Do
Sources close to Ye told The U.S. Sun that the rapper is working overtime to make things perfect. “Although Kanye is determined to bounce back with Yeezy, and work is going on at his new HQ on Melrose, he’s already been cutting costs.”
“It’s no secret he’s been bad with money in the past, and some people who have been working for him have been let go in recent weeks or told he can’t afford them at the moment,” continued the source. The source also dropped the bomb that Ye is using Craigslist to find interns, which is not something a celeb of his caliber would typically do.
At Least Ye Is Paying Them
So yes, a little unconventional, but at least they are getting paid, says the source. “Despite this, he has been advertising for interns to work for him on Craigslist and social media for $16 per hour.
