Young and the Restless: Sally Spectra Shut Adam Out
When Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) lost her baby girl on Y&R, she lashed out at Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Adam was put in the impossible situation of choosing between Sally and their unborn daughter. Of course, he decided to save Sally’s life.
Unfortunately, Sally holds him responsible for their little girl’s death. She feels that he should have chosen to save the baby. So she can’t forgive him, and she’s keeping her distance from him. However, that may all change soon.
Y&R Updates: Sally Pulled to Adam
Recently, on Young and the Restless, Adam’s father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), offered Sally a job at Newman Enterprises. He wants her and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to run the new design division. Of course, this is an incredible opportunity.
But Sally is torn. After Adam blew up their relationship, she told him she would never work for the Newman family again. And now, she’s considering this offer on Young and the Restless. Also, if she accepts the job, her office will be in Newman Tower.
Of course, that will put her in close proximity to Adam, who is also working under the Newman umbrella. He and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are merging with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). And they’re all ultimately working under Victor.
There’s a good chance Sally will take the position. Then she’ll be in Adam’s orbit, and she might be unable to escape her feelings for him. However, things may get messy if Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) starts working for Adam…
Rude Awakening Coming on Young and the Restless?
Currently, Phyllis needs Adam’s help to get out from under Tucker McCall‘s (Trevor St. John) thumb. She wants to work for him in his new company with Nick and Sharon. She’s even willing to do it for free for six months if he can help her with Tucker.
Chances are, Adam will help Phyllis to keep her out of prison and keep her working for him. Indeed, they are getting closer, and Phyllis is putting her trust in him on Young and the Restless.
Plus, there seems to be some chemistry between them. So, Sally may notice the spark and get jealous. Then she may realize that her heart still belongs to Adam. Of course, she cares for Nick and doesn’t want to hurt him.
But she might no longer be able to convince herself she’s over Adam, and she could be ready to fight for him when she realizes she could lose him. Y&R is getting intense. Tune in to see if Sally Spectra follows her heart back to Adam on the CBS daytime drama.
