Young and the Restless star Phyllis Summers is up to her neck in trouble and facing problems from all angles. Is there any hope for Red on the CBS daytime drama?
Young and the Restless: Phyllis Summers Desperate
Currently, on Y&R, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is in a world of trouble. Now that she’s back from the dead, she’s desperate to make amends with her children, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei).
Also, District Attorney Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) vows to put Phyllis in prison for faking her death. And on top of that, she is now in debt to a schemer that holds her life and freedom in his hands.
Christine Out for Blood on Y&R
Right now, on Young and the Restless, Genoa City DA, Christine, is bent on bringing Phyllis to justice. She swears it has nothing to do with her decades-long feud with Phyllis.
She wants her to pay for pretending to be dead and wasting the city’s resources. Not to mention putting her children through unnecessary pain and grief. However, there’s likely more to it.
Y&R fans know that Phyllis tried to kill Christine decades ago — and she did not forget. So, this is the perfect opportunity for Christine to see that Phyllis pays for her recent crimes.
And for everything she did to her years ago on Young and the Restless. In addition, Red is facing enormous pressure from skeevy schemer Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). And he could very well be her downfall.
Tucker Holds All the Cards on Young and the Restless
Phyllis has a way to keep herself out of prison — but Tucker is pulling the strings. Her only hope is Carson (Walter Belenky), the EMT who can say he witnessed Phyllis kill Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in self-defense.
Of course, it’s all a lie. Phyllis did indeed kill Stark in self-defense. However, Carson was nowhere around at the time. In fact, there are no witnesses that can back up Phyllis’ story.
But Tucker paid Carson to lie for Phyllis on Young and the Restless. That is, as long as she does his bidding. Tucker is determined to use Phyllis to help bring down Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). And now she’s broken Tucker’s trust.
So he wants something big for her to earn it back. No doubt, Red is stuck between a rock and a hard place, and things do not look good for her. She’s under Tucker’s thumb, but if she crosses him, she goes to prison.
