Young and the Restless former baddie Diane Jenkins just saved the life of her biggest enemy and went from villain to hero in Genoa City. And soon, she may perform another heroic act that could change everyone’s minds about her on the CBS soap opera.
Young and the Restless: Diane Jenkins Saves Ashley Abbott
Recently, on Y&R, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was at Society sparring with her rival, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Ashley was giving Diane a hard time, per usual, telling her that she’ll never believe she’s changed.
Then, something shocking happened. Ashley popped a grape into her mouth, which went right down her throat, causing her to choke. Diane immediately sprang into action and saved Ashley’s life.
Now, Ashley’s head is spinning on Young and the Restless. She doesn’t know what to do with the fact that she owes her life to the person she hates most in the world.
And official Y&R spoilers promise that this incident changes things between them for good. So, this most likely means that their rivalry could end. Ashley may agree to make peace with Diane.
She soon calls a truce with her brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane’s new husband. So, she may also bury the hatchet with Diane. Plus, she may take it a step further and shock another enemy on Young and the Restless…
Diane Helps Phyllis Save “Skyle” on Y&R?
It’s no secret that Diane wants her son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), to reconcile with his estranged wife, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). And Summer’s mom, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), feels responsible for the destruction of their marriage.
They’ve decided to file for divorce, but when their moms hear this news, they may freak out. Plus, official Young and the Restless spoilers say that Phyllis plays matchmaker.
So, there’s a good chance that they’ll put their differences aside long enough to team up to get their kids back together. Then, Red might see a new side to Diane also and try to start fresh with her.
New Hero on Young and the Restless?
Pretty soon, everyone in GC may feel differently about Diane. After saving Ashley and trying to reunite “Skyle,” it might prove to everyone that she is a good person. The only people that hate her right now are Phyllis and Ashley.
And, of course, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman). But if Ashley and Phyllis forgive Diane, it could certainly sway them. And they may all give her another chance.
