Sister Wives star Robyn Brown‘s sudden awakening seems to have Meri Brown questioning her co-wife’s motives as the new season of the TLC series rolls out Sunday night.
Sister Wives: Meri Brown Astonished
Robyn Brown and Meri Brown became very close friends when they first hit the screen for their TLC series. But it looks like this shake-up within the family might have caused a little damage to that friendship.
In the latest Interviews and clips from the new season of Sister Wives, Meri seems to snap at Robyn a few times. But this TLC series is famous for using clips out of context for drama when promoting the show.
So, while it looks like Meri barks back at the whining fourth wife a few times in the upcoming season, she could be referring to something else altogether.
But it’s easy to see that Robyn is whining, and she lets the fans know that she’s fed up. Now she claims she put herself into something she never expected. And it seems Meri has a problem with this.
Robyn Brown Didn’t Know It Would Be Like This
It’s tough for fans to say today that the Sister Wives family ended up fractured. Instead, it’s more like it’s smashed into pieces. Kody Brown sits with one wife left out of four brides.
In the new season, Robyn Brown seems to blame the wives who jumped ship and not so much Kody for their departure. But his youngest wife also says something this season that seems to appall Meri.
So Meri takes to the camera to add some commentary of her own. She offers up some insight into Robyn’s latest revelation about the now defunct plural marriage of the Sister Wives clan.
Sister Wives Meri Claims Robyn Either Blind or Duped By Good Acting
Robyn Brown sobs into the camera, which is nothing new. But this time it sounds like a possible jumping-off point for the last wife standing this season.
Robyn then claims that she might not have known what she was getting into when she joined this family. She saw this family as perfect for her kids when she decided to marry Kody. You can hear it all in the video below.

This is when Meri Brown chimes in with her thoughts. Meri said you either have to be blind or the original three Sister Wives and Kody Brown were fantastic actors. That’s because they were far from perfect.
Robyn Brown is not a happy camper. She looks like she’s paving the way to be the last wife out the door. It doesn’t sound as if She is held in the best of light today by her previous co-wives.
The Sister Wives fans always blamed her for ruining the family. But the other spouses didn’t point the finger of blame at her through the decades of the series. But today that changed.
Janelle Brown tells the Sister Wives camera that the family stopped being a family once Robyn joined. She is seconded on that point by Christine Brown.
Christine said she’s not saying Robyn stopped the family’s cohesiveness. But what she does say is the family stopped getting together once Robyn Brown came on board.
Meri Gets Her Say…
This new season was taped around the time Meri Brown and Janelle Brown started the process of leaving Kody Brown. Christine was on her way to Utah, where she now makes her home.
So, while you know they’ve left, you can see the process of how this played out in Season 18, which airs Sunday night on TLC.
While Robyn complains about how much she is missing out, the other Sister Wives women seem to be loving their newfound freedom.
Meri Brown speaks out and seems to contradict what Robyn had to say. So it looks like the Sister Wives family really is in ruins with wife number four wife looking like she’s got one foot in the door and the other on its way out.
Tune in Sunday night, August 20 to TLC at 10 pm. to catch the Season 18 premiere.
