Sister Wives star Meri Brown mentioned supporting Robyn Brown on the TLC series, but now it seems her feathers ruffled a bit over feedback on this. A psychologist replied to her statement during his YouTube show.
This likely caught her eye because she replied to the topic he covered in his statements. But she tried to set him straight in one of her recent posts.
Apparently, the psychologist saw that she wasn’t too happy about his comments. Today, he posted a new video to explain his train of thought.
Sister Wives: Meri Brown ‘Respectfully’ Disagrees
Meri Brown disagreed with what she thought the psychologist said. She never mentions his name. But, a psychologist named David Colarossi addressed how he may have gotten Meri peeved in a new post. He thought she might be upset with his critique of her declaring she has Robyn Brown’s back.
Apparently, Meri Brown understood him to say that she couldn’t possibly have Robyn Brown’s back. That’s because she doesn’t agree with her. Meri thought he said that she couldn’t disagree with her and at the same time have her back. But Colarossi got back on YouTube to clarify this. But what he had to say puts Meri in a very good light.
It sounds like he was more in awe of Meri because she has Robyn’s back. He sees Christine Brown severed from Kody Brown and elated over her new life without him. Both Colarossi and his wife are big fans of Meri Brown.
They would love to see Meri find that kind of happiness for herself that Christine found. The unhappiness in this family didn’t start overnight. The last couple of seasons made it clear that Robyn joining the family was the beginning of the end. Sister Wives viewers saw this, but it is something both Janelle Brown and Christine said as well on screen.
Meri Continues Despite Negativity
It sounds as if this psychologist thinks that Meri’s ability to have Robyn Brown’s back is commendable when it comes to how she is treated. But Colarossi made sure to convey that he didn’t say you can’t have Robyn’s back and disagree with her at the same time.
Still, if you look at how Robyn treats the original Sister Wives matriarch, it does get confusing for fans. Robyn Brown sits and cries about how she doesn’t understand what she’s done to be treated like an outcast. But what is she doing while saying that?

At the same time, Meri is there visiting her, yet, she doesn’t invite her in. It is freezing cold, so Robyn goes in and gets Kody’s leather jacket for her once co-wife to wear. Then this first wife starts reminiscing about her days with Kody as she cuddles the coat.
So, this is a sad scene. Robyn doesn’t bring her into the house that she shares with the man Meri loves. Robyn has everything her ex-sister wife seems to want, a house that contains her true love. But it looks like Robyn Brown doesn’t see it that way.
Sister Wives: What Does ‘Support’ And ‘Have Her Back’ Mean?
To the fans, Meri Brown sounded like she considers Robyn a good friend. But after saying she supports Robyn and has her back, many ask what she means by that.
Several posts suggested that Meri Brown sounded “vague” saying she supports Robyn Brown and also has her back. Others think that her relationship with Robyn is only for one reason. She is the gatekeeper to Kody for the Sister Wives clan.
The Sister Wives husband made it clear to the wives last season that he doesn’t think they treat his youngest wife very well. Since Kody seems to have taken up permanent residency with wife number four, some fans assume Meri Brown has to stay on Robyn’s good side if she’s ever going to see the man she loves again.
So, there you have it, everyone from a psychologist to the Sister Wives fans critiquing Meri Brown today after watching her on the screen of her TLC series.
