My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Thore Plans to Indoor Skydive
Whitney Thore is on a mission to complete everything on her father, Glenn Thore’s bucket list. He wants to go skydiving. But she feels that he should stay on the ground at his age. However, after researching, he decides to take it off his list. Yet, she finds a place where he can go indoor skydiving. She feels that it is “less risky.”

The My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star is happy that her father put something adventurous on his bucket list. But, she feels that indoor skydiving might be more up their alley. At his age, she thinks that getting some adventure while being safe can help him in other areas of his life.
However, Whitney’s weight could stop her from skydiving with her family. There is a 300-pound weight limit, and she doesn’t think she’s under that. Since her mother’s passing, the grief and stress have thrown her for a loop. She knows that she has lost some weight. But she doesn’t think she has lost that much. She hasn’t been under 300 in “at least a decade.”
Whitney Gets Cleared to Fly
Whitney goes to the indoor skydiving place with her father and brother. However, she doesn’t know if she can make it under the limit. She doesn’t even think she can get a credit card under her if she tries to jump.
However, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member decides to give it a go and see how much she weighs. So, she jumps on the scale. She finds it suspenseful waiting to see how much she weighs. She wants to know if she is “clear for take off or not.”
Whitney finds out that she can fly because she weighs 298 pounds. She is so happy to be able to participate in this experience with her brother and father. But she does find her weight shocking. She says it’s been a while since she’s “been this thin.”
My Big Fat Fabulous Life Celeb Struggles in Wind Tunnel
Whitney Thore is glad she can fly, but it worries her that the instructor has never flown with someone at her weight. That is not something she wants to hear. However, Caleb, the instructor, is confident it will be fine. So, she grabs the suit and puts it on.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member knows she is under the weight limit. But she doesn’t know how the wind will lift her up. Once the wind is turned on, she starts to feel like she can’t breathe. So, she gets out of the wind tunnel.
However, Whitney decides to get back into the wind tunnel and give it another try. This time, she can get off the ground and fly. She feels it was an “amazing experience.”
