Married At First Sight: Was Michael Matched with a Runaway Bride?
On the upcoming teaser of Married At First Sight it appears Michael finds himself at the altar with a bride who says “I can’t do this”. The trailer says that five couples went to the altar. But only four actually got married.
This left production to replace the show’s first-ever runaway bride with a “mystery woman”. It’s the first time in the history of the show that someone didn’t follow through on their Married At First Sight wedding day.
Michael describes himself as a sweet thoughtful person with eclectic taste. He works in the tech industry but claims he has a good work-life balance. At 38 he’s on the older side of the new Denver cast. But he says he loves sex and is a giver.
Michael admits he’s an acquired taste. He considers the opportunity to be on the show and marry a stranger a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Hopefully, his new bride will stick around long enough to say “I do” on Married At First Sight.

Married At First Sight: New Cast in Denver
The Married At First Sight experts are back at it for season 17 in Denver. Emily is among the new singles matched to marry a stranger. She describes herself as the life of the party. But admits she’s never been in love and gets ghosted often. At 29 she’s ready to settle down.
Her match is Brennan. He says he lives a single life and is ready for a partner to travel with and have some spontaneous adventures. Both admit to being direct and sarcastic. So, will they be too similar or hit it off?
Next on the list of new Married At First Sight couples are Lauren and Orion. She recently lost her mom. But feels she’s ready to meet her match. She calls herself an “interesting book you can’t put down”. Lauren considers herself queer. But wants to marry a man.
Orion is her match. A native American, he’s eager to share his culture. Orion is over surface-level encounters. He wants to connect emotionally before rushing into intimacy. Lauren echoed the same thing in discussions with the experts.

Becca and Austin Take a Chance on MAFS
Becca is ready to say “I do” on Married At First Sight. She is eager to give the experiment a chance. She’s learned that everything that has brought her joy has taken time. Becca seeks someone kind and not too serious. She is a photographer and very creative.
She also wants someone tall with dark hair and facial hair. Her match Austin seems to fit the bill. He’s also creative and would love someone to be active with. Although, his parents don’t think he’s ready for marriage.
Clare has gone on two hundred dates. She wants to settle down. So, she’s marrying a stranger. She’d like someone to pull her out of her comfort zone. She is a quadruplet and hopes for a family-oriented guy. Cameron is her Married At First Sight match. He hails from New Zealand.
And he’s built a great life. He wants someone to share it with. And definitely wants children. Cameron admits to being a hopeless romantic. So maybe the experts got this one right.
