Mama June Shannon has never had an issue with speaking her mind. So when she recently suggested that her daughter Lauryn (Pumpkin) Efird’s five-year marriage to her husband Josh Efird may be falling apart, fans quickly took notice. During her recent social media update she mentions that she believes Pumpkin is keeping things from her.

She knows right now they are not as close as they once were. But she thinks she has spotted a clue in one of Efird’s recent TikTok videos that indicate marital issues. In the video, she is seen in her car wearing an orange sweater. There is creepy music playing and a voice whispering “You won’t die, but you’ll wish you could” in the background.
So, when June Shannon saw her daughter’s TikTok she shared the video. This left her followers to believe there is something amiss. Of course, some viewers believe this is her way to stir up drama and chaos.
Pumpkin Goes Off On Her WEtv Mom
There has already been a lot of drama for the Mama June: Family Crisis family members this season. During the latest episode, Pumpkin ripped into her mom. The explosive face-off took place after the girls all received a long text from her. During the text, Mama June Shannon apologizes to them and tells them how hurt she was after they were a no-show at her bridal shower.

When she did not receive a reply she decided she would track them down in person. So she crashed a fan meet and greet event. She felt this way they would not have the opportunity to ignore her. She thought it was a good plan. However, her husband Justin Stroud was not on board. He told her that he felt this was a bad idea, and that she might regret it.
Things quickly escalated between the Mama June: Family Crisis star and her daughters. Lauryn became furious and began screaming at her mother. Pumpkin was in no mood for her games and told her “I don’t feel a lick of f***ing sympathy for you!”
Lauryn stated during her confessional, “This is the kind of s*** that she texts us. “Oh, sorry I chose drugs over you guys, but you know, the past is the past.” Her daughters, Pumpkin, Chubbs, and Honey Boo Boo are not ready to sit down, chat, forgive, and forget. Now with her publicly suggesting Pumpkin’s marriage is failing, it could be even longer before she is ready to have that heart-to-heart family talk her mother craves.
Mama June: Family Crisis – Will Mama Ever Win Her Daughters Trust Back?
The WEtv’s mama is determined to get back into her daughters’ good graces. But, June Shannon’s pushiness is making it more difficult for her by the day. She hopes to make amends before her second wedding to Justin. She wants all four of her daughters to walk her down the aisle.
Their estranged mother is also pushing to attend Alana Thompson’s upcoming graduation. This is another hot-button issue for Lauryn. She feels their mother doesn’t deserve to attend. Lauryn has been the one who has been there for Alana.
She helped her get to where she is now, not June Shannon. This will add even more anger and drama. At this point, they are not ready to allow their Mama June back into their lives. They also have no clue when they will be ready, or if they will ever be able to trust her again.
