Also, a special guest and a fan fave exit, but they may both return to GH sometime soon. Check out the latest casting updates for the ABC soap opera.
General Hospital Comings & Goings: Lois Cerullo Rattles Port Charles
GH casting updates confirm that legacy character Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) set to return this October after a 26-year absence. Rena last aired as Lois in 1997. Then she went on to play Quinn Fuller on Bold and the Beautiful for nine years, among other things.
Rena ended her run Quinn on B&B in 2022. That left many General Hospital fans hoping she would return as Lois. And we’re thrilled to confirm that their wish is coming true. The current storyline with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), aka Eddie Maine, is the perfect opening for his ex-wife’s return.
After a traumatic head injury, Ned thinks he’s his rockstar alter-ego, Eddie Maine, from decades ago. Long-time General Hospital viewers know that Lois was Eddie’s manager and wife. And some would say she is the love of his life.
Of course, he is currently married to Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero). But he has no memory of her or his life as Ned. However, he does keep mentioning a mysterious woman whom he refers to as his “siren.” Olivia seems to think it’s her, but it’s looking like it’s Lois.
She was a huge part of Eddie’s life on General Hospital. So it’s only fitting that she return. Furthermore, her daughter, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), is going through a difficult time and could really use her mom right now.
Both Rena Sofer and the BLQ actress Amanda Setton spoke out recently about Lois’s return and they’re both extremely excited. Indeed, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for Lois, Eddie, and the entire Q family.
GH Casting News: Blair Cramer Exits
Other General Hospital casting info sees Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva) heading back to Llanview. She returned to meet with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) for a two-episode stint.
They met to discuss their lawsuit against Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and her company, Deception. And Blair revealed her true agenda — she wants to force her ex-husband, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight), to marry Lucy so she can stop paying him $50,000 a month in alimony.
So her goal is to make Lucy broke, so Martin has to marry her. Blair’s run is over for now. But she will most likely return to General Hospital as Lucy’s court date approaches.
General Hospital Casting Updates: Nikolas Cassadine Out – For Now
Also, on GH, Nikolas Cassadine‘s (Adam Huss) latest stint is over, but he will be back at some point. He’s been recovering in Pautuck since his ex-wifey Ava Jerome (Maura West) nearly killed him.
Now he’s off to Europe to ensure his mother, Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis), knows he’s alive on General Hospital.
Of course, the only reason he wants his family to know he is alive is so he can stop his son Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) from inheriting his fortune.
GH is packed with drama and intrigue. Don’t miss a moment to see the epic return of Lois Cerullo and what it will mean for Ned and his family on the ABC sudser.
