General Hospital Comings & Goings: Liesl Obrecht Is Back!
GH casting updates see Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) back on the canvas. Dr. O has been off the scene for quite a while now. She came back when her niece, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), eloped with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
And she was not happy that she wasn’t at the ceremony. However, she got to catch up with her grand-niece, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), after saving her life. But then she was gone almost as quickly as she returned.
Now, she is back on General Hospital. And her ex-boyfriend, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), is desperate to get back in her good graces. Liesel and Scotty were solid and in a great place.
Then, she found out that his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), could have prevented the death of her daughter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). He defended Liz, and Liesl saw that as a betrayal.
Currently, Obrecht is going on medical conferences to avoid dealing with Scott. She insists they are over, but he won’t rest until he gets her back. And hopefully, this means she will be on General Hospital for a much longer stint than last time.
