Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Shane Donovan Appears to Caution His Daughter

DOOL comings and goings report that ISA’s top man, Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy), returns to make sure his daughter is on the up and up. This week, Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) mourned her son Tate’s great-grandfather, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston). However, she also wants her ex, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), back.

Further, on Days of our Lives, Shane’s youngest daughter wants to make Brady jealous by going after his cousin, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). Theresa even chased the men to Greece to get in on the action. They want to get to the bottom of Vivian Alamain’s (Louise Sorel) claims to Victor’s estate. Plus, Shane’s son and fellow agent, Andrew Donovan (Colton Little), gave Brady and Alex a clue about where to start.

DOOL Comings and Goings: Belle Black Leaves Drunk Cheating Hubby?

Days of our Lives comings and goings have announced Martha Madison’s departure as Belle Black. But what will send Belle away? Recent episodes of the longtime Peacock soap show marital problems between the legal eagle and her husband, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). He struggles with the guilt of shooting and critically wounding his father, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell). And he drowns his sorrows with booze every chance he gets.

DOOL recaps show the detective contemplating ending his life. Thankfully, he snapped out of his alcohol-fueled funk and sought help from Belle and his mother-in-law, Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). And he agreed to get sober and counseling. But the sudden loss of his Grandpa Victor pushed him to fall off the wagon again.

Plus, the Days of our Lives video shows Shawn commiserating with Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian). The two are so loaded that the bartender kicks them out of the Brady Pub. So, they take the party to her sister Jada Hunter‘s (Elia Cantu) room. The cliffhanger shows Belle’s husband kissing the heartbroken doctor.

DOOL spoilers hint that the attorney may find her husband in bed with Talia. This could be what provokes Belle to leave Salem. Martha Madison recently took to social media outlets to discuss her disdain about how her legacy character, Belle Black, was so easily written off the show by the former executive producer. Hopefully, with a different EP at the helm, she will eventually return with a more significant role on the show.

Days Comings and Goings: Two Child Characters Aged Soon

DOOL comings and goings spill that two of the show’s child characters, Tate Brady and Holly Jonas, will soon get SORAS (soap opera rapid aging syndrome). A recent report states that a casting call went out for high school-aged actors to begin filming as early as next week.

This means Tate and Holly will still be around on Days of our Lives in 2024. Tate Brady is the son of Theresa Donovan and Brady Black. This could mean that Shane’s daughter and grandson will move to Salem from California in the very near future.

Holly Jonas is Nicole Walker‘s (Arianne Zucker) daughter with the late Dr. Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian) via surrogate mother Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). Teen Holly may have a lot to say about her mother’s new baby with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan)

There have been no solid confirmations about who will portray the teens Tate Brady and Holly Jonas. And no departure date has been announced for Belle Black. However, Shane Donovan may be slated to return to Peacock’s DOOL the week of September 18, 2023.
