So, as B&B rolls along, Eric could die, recuperate, or land somewhere in the middle. But for this week, the spoilers suggest he lingers. So, it sounds like the viewers are in for more of the same. But, with some extra turmoil thrown in for drama.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Will Eric Forrester Live or Die?
B&B spoilers this week suggest Eric Forrester (John McCook) remains in limbo. Without any sign of his father improving, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) second-guesses his decision at one point.
That’s because Eric could expire at any minute. Plus he can’t live without life support. So Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that the unplugging debate still swirls around his hospital bed.
Bold and Beautiful shows the turmoil around the unresponsive Eric. It starts with Ridge making a decision at FC that ruffles feathers.
But what goes on outside is just as interesting as what goes on in Eric’s head. What he experiences in his mind while in this comatose state is a lot of flashbacks.
B&B brings in those who have gone before him. They try to coax him to join them by walking into the light. Then, echoes of those here on Earth go in and out. The ones who are alive, beg him to wake up and come back to them.
B&B Spoilers: Eric Pulled From Two Sides
Eric Forrester’s dance with death has to be almost over. Either, his late wife wins out, and he goes with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) to the castle in the clouds, or he rallies and takes his rightful place as the Forrester patriarch.
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers have Eric revisiting different times in his life while in that coma. So, what if the soap wakes him up, and he seems on the road to recuperation, except for one thing?
The canvas is blank when it comes to what happens to Eric Forrester next. So, the soap could squeeze some entertaining drama out of this if they keep him alive.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: A Changed Man…
Instead of Eric Forrester waking up and going back to things as usual, what if Bold and Beautiful brings him back, but he reverts to some time in the past? Maybe he thinks he’s living in the days when he was married to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Better yet, the doctors could tell the family they need to go along with this, as any shock to his system could kill him. Okay, this is far-fetched, but not as far-fetched as his daughter performing surgery on her father. That wouldn’t happen in real life, but this could.
That would give Bold and the Beautiful a lot of room for some creative drama, with Brooke having to act the part of his adoring wife, at least for a little while. Then they could conjure up another cliffhanger for the weekend by having Eric look at himself in the mirror.
Under this storyline, the following Monday, he’d be shocked to see an old man in that mirror. This could either kill him or bring him back to reality.
Or, Bold and the Beautiful could have him wake up as a stranger, speaking with an accent he never had before. Eric can look around at his family members keeping a death watch over him and not recognize a soul.
B&B Spoilers: Endless Possibilities for Eric’s Fate
Bold and the Beautiful can always take the kind-hearted Eric Forrester and turn him into a tyrant, which would fit with Ridge’s concern about them not recognizing him. Or they could go the opposite and turn him into one of the most generous philanthropists to ever come down the pike.
That would get the family scrambling before he went too far, giving the family fortune away.
Hints for Eric Forrester waking up a different man dropped last week when Ridge worried about this. His concern was that if his father pulled through this surgery, he might emerge as someone who they wouldn’t recognize.
Bold and the Beautiful had Ridge drop this concern a couple of times while deciding whether to put his father through this surgery or not. So, maybe this was B&B‘s attempt to pave the way for an unrecognizable Eric Forrester to surface from that coma on the CBS soap.
