Bold and the Beautiful: Eric’s Fate – Misdiagnosis, Poisoning, Miracle, or Funeral?

Bold and the Beautiful still has Eric Forrester‘s pending death somewhat of a mystery with only six months to live, but it’s not clear what he will die from on the CBS soap. So, because of all the confusion around the looming death of this iconic character, there are a few different ways this could go.

Bold and the Beautiful: Death Sentence Mystery Plagues Eric Forrester

Eric Forrester (John McCook) now lives with the gloomy prognosis of only six months left in this world. Despite having some top medical professionals in his family and circle of friends, an unknown doctor is the one driving the bus on handling this illness.

So far, all the Bold and the Beautiful fans know is that the illness is fatal. And because of this, he wants to live every day to its fullest. Even the name of the condition remains a mystery. So what did this doctor discover that will end up killing off the Forrester patriarch?

Bold and Beautiful spoilers have Eric Forrester’s secret about to rip wide open this week. Spoilers have RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) breaking down and telling his mother that his grandfather is dying. Then, once Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) knows, everyone will know.

So, it’s more than likely that Eric will soon find himself inundated with suggestions from his family members. They likely insist that he sees a specialist. But going to a specialist could lead to the discovery of a misdiagnosis. Although, a medical mistake would leave room for very little drama. That might depend though on who makes this discovery.

B&B: Eric’s Diagnosis a Mistake?

You have to admit that Eric Forrester’s sudden six-month expiration date doesn’t sit right. Especially with only one doctor dropping in and then out of the Forrester mansion offering minimal conversation each time. So, it’s always possible this is a mistaken diagnosis, whatever the diagnosis may be.

Maybe it is one of the people close to Eric on Bold and the Beautiful who figures out he’s been given the wrong diagnosis. It’s possible Finn sees something that doesn’t go along with the fatal condition he supposedly suffers from.

Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) may notice another symptom pointing to a treatable condition instead of a death sentence. Or he could spot symptoms Eric didn’t even know that he had, leading to a new illness or condition altogether.

Then there’s Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), or even his own daughter, Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones). Either one of these two top doctors could notice something that doesn’t fit with the diagnosis given to Eric Forrester. One theory out there even has Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) somehow spotting something about the Forrester patriarch’s symptoms that goes against the death diagnosis.

She’s a nurse from way back on Bold and Beautiful. But she also has an extensive medical background beyond nursing due to all her dirty deeds. If anyone knows about what makes people die, well, she’s top on that list. One suggestion floating around online is this could work as Sheila’s starting gate for redemption. Sure, that is far-fetched, but it’s out there and some folks see this as a possibility.

Bold and the Beautiful: Is Eric Poisoned?

Casey Kasprzyk, the producer of B&B dropped a teaser recently about filming 10 shows in one week. He promises these episodes contain an emotional journey for fans. But this could mean anything from Eric Forrester’s funeral to a miracle popping up for him on Bold and the Beautiful.

Since this diagnosis remains a mystery, this leaves the canvas fairly wide open for what’s going on with him. Another theory out there suggests he’s being poisoned. So far, Eric’s symptoms mimic a time about 15 years ago when Pam Douglas (Alley Mills) put potassium chloride in her famous lemon bars. She gave them to the Forrester patriarch with a mission in mind.

This was Pam’s attempt to weaken him after he started up with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis). Now suddenly Pam’s name emerges this week as Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) calls her on Bold and the Beautiful. She can’t talk because she’s making lemon bars.

Eric is back with Donna, so is Bold and the Beautiful repeating this path for Eric? For the full scoop on that past poisoning and how it mirrors some of the things going on today, check out the video below.

B&B: Is a Miracle or a Funeral Lurking For Eric?

Besides a misdiagnosis, a miracle is always one way Bold and the Beautiful could go. The symptoms could just stop. Eric Forrester is a force of nature, so he could always just will himself to live with a little B&B magic.

Or they could consider it a miracle if someone from within Eric’s circle of medical professionals knows of a controversial treatment for his ailment. This could also include the Sheila Carter theory as well if she’s the one to come up with the info.

Then, of course, there’s always a chance that the iconic Forrester could die. So, those 10 emotional episodes that Casey writes about above could deal with Eric Forrester’s last days and his funeral. So, where does that emotional ride take the fans? Will Eric’s fate lead to a misdiagnosis, a miracle, a poisoning, or a funeral? One of these events is likely on the way for Eric Forrester on this CBS soap.
