SlickPic Photography Challenge: Visualizing Music

SlickPic Photography Challenge: Visualizing Music

Up for another photography challenge? We’re down to the last three weeks of SlickPic’s 52-week Photo Challenge! For week 50, the folks of SlickPic are calling everyone to transform music into a visual masterpiece. Is this challenge up your alley? It’s time to refill your creative juices and put your photography skills to the test.

As the theme states, the challenge involves finding creative ways to express music and its different elements into visual form. You can photograph musicians as they perform, people attending a concert or recital, showcase the details of different instruments, or get inspired by the mood of your favorite songs for an abstract image.

To help inspire you with some ideas and examples, check out these guides from Sony and The Compelling Image. In case you’re just joining, we also encourage you to check out the full info on the 52-week Challenge.
