SlickPic Photography Challenge: Rule of Odds

SlickPic Photography Challenge: Rule of Odds

Another week, another photography challenge! Here’s one that you can tackle over the weekend. For the 45th week of their 52-week Photo Challenge, the folks of SlickPic are calling everyone to get creative with their photos through the Rule of Odds. If you’re ready and raring to go, it’s time to refill your creative juices and put your photography skills to the test.

As you can probably tell by now, this challenge involves showing an odd number of objects in your photo. According to the Rule of Odds, you can create more visually appealing compositions when your main subjects come in or contain odd number of elements. As such, you’re encouraged to experiment and figure out how to use this technique to achieve great results.

To help inspire you with some tips and examples, check out our guide on mastering and breaking the Rule of Odds, as well as those from Photzy and the folks of SlickPic. In case you’re just joining, we also encourage you to check out the full info on the 52-week Challenge.
