This is it, we’re down to the last two weeks of SlickPic’s Photo Challenge! For week 51, the folks of SlickPic are calling everyone to embrace the festive spirit and capture the essence of the most wonderful time of the year. Are you down to a couple more photography challenges before the year ends? Take this chance to refill your creative juices and put your photography skills to the test.
As the theme states, the challenge involves telling your own story of the holiday season through your photos. You can photograph the streets aglow with festive lights and decors, cozy gatherings with family and friends, or the stunning beauty of a winter landscape. Reflect on what the season means to you, and what makes it the most wonderful time of the year. Finally, look around for opportunities to incorporate various visual techniques you’ve learned over the year. (Hint: Now is the perfect time to bust out your bokeh mastery!)
To help inspire you with some ideas and examples, check out these guides from Digital Photography School and Shotkit. In case you’re just joining, we also encourage you to check out the full info on the 52-week Challenge.
