Natalie Portman isn’t going to give up on her marriage because of an alleged cheating scandal. But she will take precautions.
Natalie Portman Is Putting Her Foot Down
The actress isn’t allowing the wool to be pulled over her eyes when it comes to the cheating allegations attached to her husband’s name. the 11-year marriage is worth the fight according to sources close to Portman.
“There’s obviously going to be conditions, and apparently, he’s fine with whatever rules she wants. If he messes up again, she’ll likely pull the plug,” the source shared with Radar Online. Because of their history, ty both want to try.
It’s important to note that Portman nor Millepied have confirmed that an affair took place but apparently, he has been spotted cheating on his mega superstar wife whom he shares two children with.
On Set Love Story
Portman and Millepied met in 2009 when she filmed her Oscar-nominated movie, Black Swan. Millepied, a ballet dancer by trade was the on-set choreographer for the dance-centered thriller. The two children they share together are a son, Aleph, and a daughter, Amalia.
They married in 2012 and while not much is known about the alleged affair that was exposed by Voici but info on the alleged girl is out there. The short-lived fling supposedly involved 25-year-old Camille Étienne, a climate activist.
Once the rumor dropped an insider spoke to Us Weekly to say, “Natalie believes Benjamin’s affair was a brief and stupid liaison that means nothing to him.” This is why she is willing to try and move past it.
Benjamin Millepied Is Working Off His Debt
The dancer is supposedly working very hard to gain back his wife’s trust. He wants to ease her mind and one of the ways he is doing that is sharing “all his passwords” he wants to ensure her that he isn’t hiding anything, anymore.
Plus, “he’s not going out without her these days — every night is date night while he gets back in her good graces,” the sources allege. Millepied allegedly had to “beg” Portman for a second chance.
Because she has given him the go-ahead, he is “willing to do anything” to earn her trust back. “Her friends are all hoping he’s going to stick to his word and stay loyal. It’s the least Natalie deserves.”
‘Black Swan’ Was A Dramatic Film
Just like her marriage, the movie set had drama as well. Portman spoke of director Darren Aronofsky’s attempt to pit her and co-star Mila Kunis against one another to make for a better film.
“He didn’t want us to be friends while we were shooting, because we’re rivals in the movie. So we both had to do this ballet training, but he would make it at different times, and then he would tell me, ‘She’s doing really well,’ and then tell her, ‘Natalie’s doing so much better than you.’”
It worked, the film was great, and the women don’t hold any grudges against one another.
Hopefully, Portman and Millepied’s relationship survives this.
