Maury Povich ensures that no one has to be embarrassed about retaking a paternity test with his at-home kit!
You Are The Father… At Home
The talk show host has made a name for himself, breaking paternity news to fathers and mothers all over America. His show is no longer on the air, but that doesn’t mean people are no longer making those lifelong mistakes.
Povich will always be there for confused parents seeking help because his at-home testing kits will be available soon. The kits will be available through Povich’s company, “The Results Are In.”
TMZ states the kits will include all the necessary materials and instructions for a good, usable DNA sample. The samples are then sent to a lab at a DNA Diagnostics Center. This means you don’t have to involve doctors or the courts either.
Plus, you can avoid the possible shame of finding out the results on a national TV show known for dramatic reactions where camera people run behind the guests backstage for their perfect shot.
The Results Are Fast
The company has assured those interested that they won’t have to wait too long to get their results. In 2-3 days, you can find out if you are the father and be confident in that answer because the results claim to be 99.99% accurate.
And it’s all on the low, so your results will never be made public for TV fodder or any other reason. Maury expressed his excitement over the new product.
“I’ve seen firsthand how DNA testing can change lives and bring families together. With ‘The Results Are In,’ we’re making it easier and more affordable than ever before for people to get the answers they need.”
Maury Povich Dedicated To Fans
The 84-year-old trademarked the phrase “You Are Not The Father” in 2017, meaning that this product could have been in the works for some time now. Initially, when Povice ended his show after 31 seasons, he was forced to defend allegedly exploiting people for views.
Povich made it clear that this has never been his intention. “If I can prove someone is the father of this child, that child will have a better chance in life with two people, two parents,” he says. Seeing the rewards of what he does has always been why he wouldn’t stop.
“I bring these guests back 15 years later and find out that the guy did get into the kid’s life, got together with the mother, and they had more kids, and the child ended up with a good job. There are a lot of good endings with these stories.”
The Maury Povich Show
The now-syndicated talk show made history as the longest-running daytime talk show with a single host in United States history. Povich is set to receive a lifetime achievement award at the Daytime Emmy’s if it ever airs because of the writers’ strike.
He will be given the award along with Susan Lucci. “We are thrilled to be recognizing two icons with Lifetime Achievement honors, Susan Lucci and Maury Povich. Both of them have had astonishing success and deep impact in daytime television, Susan in drama series and Maury in talk, and have left their indelible marks on the industry.”
