Mark Walhberg’s Las Vegas restaurant is still open for business despite experiencing a small fire nearly two months after opening.

On Wednesday, November 6, video footage of a fire at Flecha Cantina started circulating on social media. The fire appeared to take place outside the restaurant, according to the clip. A second video showed the fire department responding to the scene.

The following day, however, the restaurant’s official Instagram page assured patrons that the establishment was still welcoming patrons.

“Flecha Cantina @shoptownsquare #LasVegas,” the restaurant captioned an Instagram video on Thursday, November 7. “Open 11AM to 11PM- stop in and elevate your vibe.”

A good move. Mark Wahlberg packed up his family, leaving Los Angeles for Las Vegas last year, and the relocation has been great for his four teenagers. “They love Vegas,” the Ted star, 51, told E! News on Wednesday, April 27. “I spent lots of time in L.A. pursuing my interests and my career and […]

One commenter was quick to ask about what went down the night before.

“I heard there was a small fire yesterday on the patio? Hope everyone is ok,” the person wrote. “See you all soon! Love your food.. love the atmosphere.”

The Townsquare Las Vegas account responded first.

“There was a minor fire on the Flecha Cantina patio last night,” they wrote. “There were no injuries and TSLV thanks LVFD for their prompt response. Flecha is open normal business hours.”

Flecha shared their own response to the fan as well, noting that there were “no injuries” and the restaurant is “open for business.”

TMZ reported on Wednesday that the blaze was caused by an issue with one of the fire pits on the restaurant’s patio.

Randy Sharpe, CEO of the Wahlburgers restaurant group, has since offered more information about the incident, which took place at 5:30 p.m. local time.

Mark Wahlberg is slowing down — but he’s not coming to a complete halt just yet. “Well, I’m certainly working harder now than ever,” Wahlberg, 52, told Cigar Aficionado for the magazine’s September/October issue. “Certain businesses, you kind of build them, pass them on or you exit. Hopefully my kids, we’ll see what their interests […]

“The whole front of the building has reflective windows, so it made it look pretty spectacular, but not in a good way,” Sharpe said, as reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Wednesday. “The fire department came out quickly; they suppressed it. It was out in 20 minutes. It was very minor. Fortunately, it wasn’t worse.”

He noted that the establishment was up and running again by about 7:15 p.m.

Wahlberg opened the original Flecha Cantina location in Huntington Beach, California this past June. The Las Vegas establishment had its grand opening months later in September, and the actor appears to be a regular since he lives in Nevada.

“I’ve been home less than 24 hours and more than 25 people have come up to me to talk about how amazing their experience has been at Flecha in Vegas,” Wahlberg said in a video posted to the restaurant’s Instagram account last month. “We’ve got the best operators and the best partners.”
