Photo London, one of the most highly-anticipated international photography fairs in the UK and Europe, brings together a diverse array of photography every year. The expansive show, filling multiple floors of London’s famed Somerset House, has something for everyone, and features some of the most prominent names in photography as well as many super-talented, up-and-coming emerging artists from near and far. It’s a brilliant mix — attracting high-end collectors, gallerists, publishers and photography enthusiasts from all corners of the globe.
This year, you can discover inspiring photography presented by 110 galleries and exhibitors from 55 cities worldwide. Public programs will feature artist talks and interviews, new discoveries, and the presentations of awards like the Photo London x Nikon Emerging Photographer Awards. For photobook enthusiasts, the fair includes an abundant section of photobooks from a wide array of international publishers.
Martin Parr, Photo London’s Master of Photography, will be presenting new works and unveiling an intriguing project that is 50 years in the making. Also eagerly awaited is an exhibition of women photographers from the Hyman Collection at the newly-created Centre for British Photography.
Our own exhibition at Photo London — LensCulture New Discoveries in Contemporary Photography — will feature stunning work by 60 award-winning photographers from 25 countries. It’s a fresh and refreshing view of new photography that celebrates a multitude of creative approaches, techniques and topics. We’re expecting to welcome and meet many of the exhibiting artists and many other members of the LensCulture community. We hope to see you there!
