Lala Kent Admits She’s ‘Coming Around’ To Dating Again, Will Use THIS Dating App

Lala Kent appears to have changed her mind about getting back into the dating scene years after ending her relationship with Randall Emmett, who was unfaithful during their relationship.

Despite previously voicing her disinterest in ever returning to a relationship, the widely regarded media personality gladly told her fans of her new ‘dating’ update. She also revealed a dating app she would not mind using, thanks to its secure and seamless features, which she also believed was a suitable solution for those who just got out of toxic relationships.

In a recent Instagram Story post Kent made it known to the world that she was down to have romance in her life again. She divulged so during a Q&A session in response to a fan asking for advice about returning to dating after breaking away from a “toxic relationship.”

Looking well made up with no hair out of place, the “Give Them Lala” author said, “I love this question because it reminds me that I am not alone in being a little nervous to dip my toe back into the dating pond.”

She continued, “I’m absolutely not opposed to a dating app. I’ve been pretty vocal about not being ready to date quite yet. I’m coming around you guys, and I would use Bumble because I love that it’s very female-driven.”

Kent explained that she also loved the measures the app took to ensure safety, making it the only dating app she would use. “So that’s what I wanna do,” she concluded. “That’s the next account that I’ll be setting up.”

In a second Story post, she shared another reason behind her love for Bumble, calling the app a “no-brainer” while disclosing her longtime connection with the founder’s sister in Utah since she was 13.  In her words, “I also have like a little bit of a personal connection because the founder of Bumble, Whitney Wolfe, I work with because I was best friends with her younger sister Danny.”

In a follow-up question, a fan asked for the “biggest lesson” she had learned from her traumatic past relationship. Using a throwback picture of her carrying her baby daughter, Ocean, as a background, Kent wrote, “Recently, I’ve learned my trauma is not a superpower.”

She added, “I’d like to start my healing process in a proper way, so I don’t project so much. It’s time. Wish me luck.” Last month, the “Vanderpump Rules” alum opened up about her tumultuous relationship with Emmett, claiming that not only did he shatter her heart, but he also destroyed her confidence as an actress.

During a candid conversation with the Los Angeles Times, the “Vanderpump Rules” star opened up about her failed romance with the movie director claiming she initially noticed his odd behaviors behind closed doors but wanted their relationship to work out.

Recalling several atrocious moments in their relationship, Kent shared that her self-esteem was deeply affected that it spilled over to her acting career. The harrowing affair made her stop seeking jobs because she believed people in Hollywood would not take her seriously.

Kent, who only starred in multiple of Emmett’s movies alongside Bruce Willis and Al Pacino before they split, shared, “Now it’s like, ‘They were right. I was sleeping with the right dude. It will take me a minute to return and say, ‘Was I talented?” At the moment, working with those legends, it was incredible. But now it just feels dirty.”

The Give Them Lala Founder Marked One Year Of Freedom From Relationship With Ex-Fiancé

Regardless of the trauma from her relationship with Emmett, the 32-year-old is more than grateful to be free. Kent had something huge to celebrate last October when she marked the first year anniversary since breaking up with Emmett using a beautiful message on her Instagram Story.

She also uploaded a touching photo of a silhouette of herself carrying Ocean as they stood at the beach, soaking in the natural scenery.

Kent began by wishing herself “Happy Independence Day” before recounting: “A year ago today, I had my ducks in a row, and it was time to execute my game plan of escaping a toxic and unsafe place.”

She admitted that even narrating her story on the day of celebration made her heart pound, but thankfully, she knew God and the universe had her back, which she would always be grateful for.
