Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, has put his name on the California sex offenders list after moving into a new $20 million mansion.
Kenneth Petty Has A New Residence
The rapper and her husband recently moved to Calabasas, California, and one of his first things on the to-do list was to update his sex offender profile. According to California Megan’s Law website, Petty is on there and updated!
The 45-year-old listed the home as his permanent residence with the rapper. It features an 8-bedroom, 11-bathroom and is 11,820 sq. ft. For several months, the offender had his and Nicki’s old address listed, and it low-key felt like he was breaking the law by not updating the new information.
In addition to the address update, he posed for a new picture attached to his profile. Petty was ordered to register as a sex offender from a case in the 90s.

Kenneth Petty First Degree Rape Charges
The Pink Print rapper was accused of first-degree rape of a woman named Jennifer Hough. He made a plea deal, reducing the charge to attempted rape. He ended up serving four years in prison.
Hough accused the rapper and Petty of harassing her and sued them in 2021 for attempting to have her recant her statement. She even said at one point, Minaj and Petty’s team offered her $500k.
When she declined, an “alleged onslaught of harassing calls and unsolicited visits” started rolling in. Then early in 2023, Hough’s claims against Minaj and her team were dismissed.
As for a settlement, sources say one was never reached, and no money ever exchanged hands.
Nicki Minaj’s Lawyer Is Bothered

The rapper’s lawyer slammed Hough for her choice to pursue legal action. “In my view, your conduct in pursuing this case against Nicki represents the worst of our legal system: bottom-feeding lawyers who pursue frivolous actions against a celebrity, assuming they will be paid off if they throw enough dirt.”
The savagery continued. “You forced my client to spend over $300,000 in fees to defend a case which even my labradoodle, Gracie, could see was frivolous on both the facts and the law.”
Kenneth Petty’s Alias Listed

Another personal note on the California Megan’s Law Website was Petty’s known aliases. At one point or another, he was going by the name Avery Johnson. And the language used on the website is alarming.
They refer to Petty’s charges as “ATTEMPTED RAPE BY FORCE OR FEAR.” They also described his tattoos as though he was a dangerous offender or someone on the run. “Neck word” could be that “ONIKA” tattoo he got.
There is a “risk assessment” column, but nothing is currently listed. And finally, unfortunately for Minaj, her address is recorded. This can be problematic for someone of her status and level of fame.
The couple has been fighting this for some time now, and it seems they are beginning to comply just for peace of mind.
