Guy Fieri Cashes In With $100 Million Food Network Contract

Guy Fieri is cashing in as he has signed a new three-year deal with Food Network. This means that fans will continue to see more of his hit television shows, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” “Guy’s Grocery Games,” and “Tournament of Champions.”

“Recognized everywhere he goes, there is only one Guy Fieri,” Warner Bros. Discovery head of food content Betsy Ayala said on Fieri. “Guy’s love of food, restaurants, and the chefs behind the dishes, combined with his extraordinary passion for crafting series with stories that resonate make extending this partnership a clear choice in our mission to deliver to viewers more of what they love.”

Fieri is one of the highest-paid celebrity chefs on television.

Fieri first joined the Food Network in 2006 when he won “The Next Food Network Star.” Ever since the Food Network star and his team at Knuckle Sandwich LLC have opened more than 80 restaurants around the world to date.

“One of the reasons we’re bullish about our television networks is because of the power of incredible talents like Guy,” Warner Bros. Discovery US Networks chairman and CEO Kathleen Finch said when speaking on the new contract.

Guy Fieri has multiple different shows, including hits such as “Guy Off the Hook,” “Guy & Hunter’s European Vacation,” “Guy Fieri’s Road Show,” “Guy’s Family Road Trip,” and “Guy’s Ranch Kitchen,”

According to Variety, the contract is valued at more than $100 million.

The “Tournament of Champions” star spoke out on his new contract with Food Network, explaining how much this contract means to him.

“For nearly two decades, Food Network has been my home, and continuing to create great TV within the Warner Bros. Discovery universe is exactly where I want to be,” he said, adding, “Food is our most universal language so being able to unite people through highlighting chefs, restaurateurs and the folks dishing out incredible meals all over this country and world is a privilege and responsibility that I don’t take lightly.”

“I don’t want to do things to make money,” he previously stated on his success. “I want to do things to make it great.”

This news comes after Fieri announced his new line of malt beverages called Flavortown Spiked. The first flavor to launch the brand is a hard fruit punch, which Fieri describes as “adult Kool-Aid — but not as sweet.”

“You can’t say fruit punch and not smile. And you can’t say Flavortown and not smile. And hopefully, you can say Guy Fieri and think good times,” the Food Network star told PEOPLE.
