‘Family Matters’ star Darius McCrary recently filed for a restraining order against his ex-girlfriend, claiming that she might kill him. The actor stated that his ex “physically attacked him with a lead pipe and damaged his car’s glass.”

She also reportedly called him a punk and is fearful that he may “end up like Phil Hartman.” (Hartman was murdered by his wife Brynn Omdahl in May 1998.)

McCrary first filed a restraining order back in August 2022, however, it was not approved as the actor didn’t show up at the hearing due to being “displaced at the time, and had to flee from my ex.” He also claimed that he was “ emotionally traumatized, and could not focus on work or day to day for fear.”

As previously reported by The Blast, his ex, “turned our then home into a drug den, she agreed to leave the country to attend rehab. She has returned and is now calling and sending threats. She has taken my possessions and placed them in storage and refuses to return them. She continues to be mentally abusive.”

“She threatened to have her friends come take my dog and if I don’t pay her,” he claimed, adding, “she has keys to my vehicle.”

“I am afraid she will cause further damage. She continues to call me a punk (and other names we are choosing not to list) and is slandering my name in several professional circles of the entertainment industry.”

He also alleged that his ex was holding onto things of value that belonged to him, including “personal items.”

“She will not return my personal items and is attempting to extort me.” He went as far as to claim she is “terrorizing” him.

The couple’s divorce was officially finalized in 2019, after a long two-year battle. The ‘Family Matters’ actor was ordered to pay his ex $1,366 per month in child support.
