“Familiar” at Gauli Zitter, Brussels — Mousse Magazine and Publishing

This is an exhibition of artworks related to ideas of family and familiarity, people and things belonging together. One can speak about family relationships, sometimes involving children, sometimes friends, parents, lovers, and chosen siblings. One can speak about familiar things—those we know—and things in the same family—those that share traits. It can be about becoming familiar and becoming family, learning things, indoctrination even. Doomed family’s future and broken past. Family and familiar for better or worse.
