A lip gloss queen’s dream!
In this week’s episode of Us Weekly’s Breaking Beauty series, senior editor Crista Laqcua and I (assistant editor Grace Riley) put Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Collagen Lip Bath Gloss to the test.
The gloss ranges in nine luminous shades, from pastel pink to brown, and retails for $35. Infused with Collagen and Vitamin A, the high-shine gloss plumps the lips while keeping them super hydrated.
“I am obsessed with anything Charlotte Tilbury,” Crista said as she applied the pigment to her pout in the shade Pillow Talk Fair. “It’s magic on your face.”
After Crista swept the product across her pout, she immediately gushed about how “great” it felt on her lips, with a slight minty feel to it. While Crista loved how the gloss looked on its own, she thought it would also pair well with a brown or nude lipstick underneath to give a “cherry cola” effect.
Upon opening the gloss, I loved that the applicator brush featured a dainty heart shape which made it easier to line the lips. It also had a nice pigmentation to it, giving my lips a pretty pink shade.
Crista and I agreed that the gloss could be worn for any occasion — it’s not too overpowering to don in the office, but could also be perfect for a date night, brunch or night out.
