Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb, who met and began dating on “Bachelor In Paradise,” are getting married!
Bachelor Nation ‘met’ the pair in the summer of 2021 on the seventh season of ‘BiP,’ which produced a ‘Bachelor’ franchise success story in Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt, and Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs!
Despite an on-screen split, Bachelor Nation saw the pair quickly make up and take their relationship into the ‘real world’ as they gave fans a glimpse on social media via Instagram and TikTok!
The pair announced their engagement via Instagram on Wednesday afternoon, with members of Bachelor Nation to help celebrate. This week within the ‘Bachelor’ franchise has been bursting with celebratory energy; Yesterday, former ‘Bachelor’ Nick Viall announced his partner, Natalie Joy’s, pregnancy!
Heringer And Erb Are Far Away From The Hesitation That Plagued Their Relationship At One Time
The Blast explored the reason why Erb called off their relationship back on the beach; they weren’t the only pair to almost never be from “Bachelor In Paradise”s seventh season. Kufrin called off her relationship with Jacobs briefly as well.
During their prom night break-up on the beach, Erb was honest with his future fiancée about his intentions. He explained to Heringer that he was ultimately forcing his feelings instead of allowing for a relationship to blossom naturally.
“I’ve been trying to force something that I want,” Erb explained, “when deep down I know I haven’t found my person.” (via Us Weekly)
A heartbroken Heringer responded, “You go from telling someone you’re falling in love with them the night before to this conversation. You were the one who constantly said, ‘I’m not going to say anything I don’t mean. I don’t want to make false promises.’ But you ultimately ended up doing that,” she told him.
The couple seemingly experienced a multitude of growth from the momentary snag in their life plan. A year ago when we took a look at where the couple were at the time, they attributed the breakup to eventually allowing them to realize the gravity of their romance. Stepping away from the glitz and glamor of filming the show also helped the reality stars understand their relationship’s weight.
Erb told Us Weekly’s “Here For The Right Reasons” podcast, “I think it made it more real. You step away- no cameras, no production, just you and somebody you like that was in this crazy experience in the real world. I think it’s good. It makes it more real. You get to say, ‘OK, where am I at in real life with my own thoughts and my own time? And all of that,” he explained. (via Us Weekly, per The Blast)

The happy couple both posted pics from their engagement shoot to Instagram. The bride-and-groom-to-be included lyrics from Taylor Swift’s “Lover” as the caption for the collection!
