Ioan Gruffudd is probably wishing he has those Fantastic Four superpowers now. Just enough to do something about his pesky estranged wife.
Ioan Grufudd Was Berated
It was revealed in the court transcripts that the actor was possibly getting verbally abused in front of his minor children by his wife. He accused Alice Evans of telling him he was never going to “succeed in acting,” in front of the kids.
The bombshell was dropped by Radar Online. Gruffudd and Evans filed for divorce in 2021 after 13 years of marriage and have been battling it out since. Grufffudd eventually had to get a restraining order against his wife due to her behavior.
Unfortunately, he is not the only person that needs protection from Evans. Gruffudd’s new girlfriend has also alleged harassment from Evans. Bianca Wallace has allegedly received online harassment from Evans.
Child Custody Is A Problem Too
The actor who we would say has been pretty successful despite what fiery, hateful words his estranged wife has allegedly yelled at him. He starred in 2 Fantastic Four movies, he has had lead roles on many British procedural shows like Liar. He was also in Titanic so, see, he has some credits.
So he’s providing that’s for sure, especially for their daughters Ella, 11, and Elsie, 7. He asked the court for joint physical custody but, Evans wants primary custody. “Alice has continued to inflict serious emotional harm on Ella and Elsie by her statements and by interfering in my relationship with them,” he said in the court documents obtained by Daily Mail.
He continues, “Alice has verbally abused and undermined me in front of the girls throughout their lives.” And apparently, it only gets worse.

He claims that Evans also coaches the children. “Since January 2021, Alice has also encouraged and instructed them not to see me or communicate with me and she has made thousands of threatening and abusive communications to me and about me.”
He slammed her for being abusive and wrapping the kids up in the adult drama. “I believe Alice’s actions are child abuse and I am gravely concerned for our children.” He demanded that the courts evaluate who the fit parent is in this scenario.
Evans is of course not the type to take these accusations lying down, she clapped back at her almost ex-husband denying the allegations and making a few accusations of her own.
Alice Evans Has Something Different To Say
“I have read and disagree with the declaration of petitioner (Gruffudd) as to allegations that I am inflicting or causing our children ”serious emotional harm. No one has ever contacted me or reported me for such conduct. No professional, nor teacher, nor school administrator, nor counsel, nor therapist.”
She denies the allegations of Gruffudd claiming she yelled at him in front of the kids. Truth is, it sounds like Gruffudd is a little hurt at Evans told him she had been miserable for years and wanted a divorce.
