A first look at the new Sigma BF

A first look at the new Sigma BF

In case you missed it, Sigma recently announced the BF camera, which they described as a “radically simple camera that evokes the essence of photography.” The full-frame mirrorless camera is as simple as a camera can get, purposefully minimalist and designed for everyday photography. Sigma has given a rundown of the features for those who are just learning about their new release. But if you’re already aware and wants to know next what it’s like to shoot with, we have a quick hands-on look from Gordon Laing.

In the video above, Laing briefly discusses what the $2,000 Sigma BF is all about, from the lens mount, the body’s material and finish, to the control’s layout. With a sample in hand, he also provides us a peek of the camera’s handling, giving us an idea of how small and compact it is. Surely, it would be interesting to learn about the shooting experience and image quality next; that should come soon enough with the Sigma BF set to be available by April.

So, what do you think of this ultra minimalist camera by Sigma? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
