David Toborowsky moved to Thailand after feeling like he needed a change. He loved living in the country. The TLC celeb even found the love of his life there. He and Annie Suwan eventually got engaged and moved to America, where they had three months to wed. They have now been husband and wife for a few years.
The 90 Day Fiance reality star always embraced his wife’s Thai culture. They have been back to her home country a few times to visit. A couple of years ago, they even tried to bring her cousin and brother to America for a better life. However, they struggled to get their visas approved.
During one of their trips to Thailand, David decided to become a Buddhist monk. It wasn’t an easy journey for him. He even felt like giving up at times. But, he was able to complete every step and eventually became a monk. He took the role very seriously. And now, he is making his love for Buddhism permanent.
David Gets Traditional Buddhist Ink
David recently got a tattoo while in Pattaya, Thailand. He explains that his wife, Annie Suwan, was getting her tattoo touched up. So, she decided to add a new one to his growing collection of ink. However, he says he will touch up his old tattoos next time. But this time around, he wanted something new.
The 90 Day Fiance cast member got a traditional Buddhist tattoo. His new ink is on his back in between his shoulders. Traditional Thai tattoos are often believed to bring good luck. He says the tattoo also means the “nine levels to heaven.” He adds that it is what he has been told.
David already has a few tattoos. However, he admits that all the ones he has can’t be seen if he has a shirt on. One of his tattoos is an eagle. But he explains that it is 30 years old and now “looks like a turkey.”

David Toborowsky’s new Buddhist ink got a lot of attention from fans. One person finds the tattoo impressive. Yet, the TLC star says that it didn’t hurt. He also adds that he was drinking wine while getting it done. So, that could’ve helped block the pain.
