Love After Lockup: Anthony Redding Tells Sharae Scott He Needs Two Things
Sharae Scott is excited to have her man, Anthony Redding, free from prison. She wants to make sure every moment of his first official day is special. During his confessional, he says that he spent the last seven years in prison for second-degree burglary. He admits he felt his sentence was harsh, but he says it served its purpose and taught him a major lesson.
The Love During Lockup cast member acknowledges his poor choices as a young man. He feels that he needed to live through all his experiences, good and bad, to help him become the man he is today. He also vows to never return to prison. After he is released, one of the first things he does is to ditch his prison wardrobe. He made sure to have her bring him a complete and new set of clothes to start his new journey.
Anthony is eager to get on the road and drive as far away from the prison as possible. He tells her that riding in a car without shackles feels strange. But all she could think about was his toned and fit body. She tells him she wants him to get her in shape as well.
She tells him that she knows he is hungry and needs to eat. He agrees and tells her he needs food and alone time, not in that order. He is eager to get her alone somewhere so they can have someone one-on-one playtime.

Sharae Scott laughs off Anthony’s dirty thoughts and tells him he is “always thinking nasty.” He agrees, but then she tells her Love After Lockup partner that he needs to read the itinerary that she gave him. This is so he would have an idea about the day’s plans. He doesn’t seem too impressed by her need to control the day’s events.
He tells her it looks like he has no choice but to go with the flow, meaning her plans. Sharae attempts to turn the discussion away from the itinerary. So, she questions him about prison. She wants to know what he feels the most challenging part about being in prison was for him. At the same time, her cell phone alarm goes off, revealing it is 11 o’clock and time to feed Anthony.

She tells him that they are running a little behind schedule according to her plans. So, he takes this as an opportunity to make a point. He answers her question about prison. Anthony tells his Love After Lockup partner that following the same daily routine is the most challenging part. He doesn’t like having someone tell him what to do and when to do it by their schedule.
Anthony Redding tells him that prison feels the same as her itinerary. She immediately catches his hint and tells him she doesn’t want him to feel that way. So she asks him if her itineraries and schedules will be a turn-off for him. He can’t believe that she asked that question and bluntly told her, “Yes, that is going to be a turn-off.”

Sharae doesn’t want to do anything to spoil their first day together. So she tells him they do not have to follow the schedule to a tee. Their relationship is a strained one. They go back a long way and end things on a sour note. The pair dated late in high school and a couple of years later. That is until Sharae learns that he has cheated on her. They then parted ways only to reconnect years later.
Things were going well for the Love After Lockup couple, and they were planning a jail wedding. That is until he admits that he’s been keeping something from her. And it is huge. He finally reveals to her that he is already married. Things take a strange turn at this point because Sharae forgives him for his deception.
