Glenn Thore from My Big Fat Fabulous Life gets into a scary car accident. His daughter, Whitney Thore, doesn’t know if she wants her father back on the roads.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Glenn Thore Crashes Car
Whitney Thore has been keeping a closer eye on her father, Glenn Thore, ever since her mother, Babs Thore, passed away. She admits to being a “helicopter daughter.” She feels that her father will be “protected at all costs.”

The My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star got a phone call you never want to get. She found out that her father was in a car accident. It took place not too far from her house. So she was able to get there quickly.
Glenn was trying to cross an intersection when a driver coming the opposite way went through a red light and smashed into him. According to Whitney, the driver and their passengers did not get any injuries. They were just “shaken up.”
Whitney Takes Glenn to the Hospital
Glenn thought that he had broken his ribs from the car accident. So, Whitney took him to the hospital. They were there for a “very short” six hours, getting x-rays and running tests. In the end, he didn’t break his ribs. However, he did have a broken bone in his ankle and a “very large hematoma” on his leg.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member was in a lot of pain. However, he refused to take the pain medication the hospital was going to give him. Whitney was glad that her father was doing fine. She told fans to “hug your daddies tight.”
The following day, Glenn had taken a shower and needed to go somewhere important. According to Whitney, if her father didn’t go to Starbucks, the employees there would call the emergency room because they would have thought he was no longer with them. So, the father-daughter duo went to the coffee shop to get their coffee.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life Celeb Staying off the Roads?
Whitney Thore doesn’t know if she will let Glenn Thore get back into the driver’s seat. His car was towed. But they have another car he can use. However, she doesn’t want him to get back on the road so soon after the accident.
So, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life castmate asked her father what he planned to do for the day. Glenn told his daughter that he was going to rest. And she was happy to hear that. She doesn’t want to worry about him getting into another car wreck.
In the new season, the TLC star goes through big life changes. He loses his wife, Babs Thore. He doesn’t know how he can move on without her. However, his children try to help their father find happiness again.
The TLC celeb also reconnects with his long-lost daughter. Whitney and her brother Hunter Thore have never met their half-sister before.
