Kylie Jenner is serving goth-glam energy.
Jenner, 27, took to Instagram on Thursday, October 17, to debut her new jet-black hair transformation, just in time for spooky season. In the clip, she wandered through her house while running her fingers through her freshly dyed tresses — which were previously a coffee-brown color — cut a few inches past her shoulders and straightened.
“Back to black 👸🏻,” Jenner captioned the post.
She also posted a closeup selfie of her new ‘do, which made her hazel eyes pop. Slaying the “scary sexy” aesthetic, Jenner’s trends were styled in a sleek blowout, highlighting just how shiny her hair was with her latest dye job. Jenner donned a fresh face and gave the camera a soft smile while wearing a charcoal T-shirt.
“Octoberrrr 🖤🧡,” she wrote alongside the carousel of shots, which also included a picture of Disney’s Violet from The Incredibles, perhaps hinting at what Jenner will be dressing up as for Halloween.
Celebrity friends and fans were quick to compliment The Kardashians‘ star on her new glossy look.
“Brunettes do it better babe ❤️🔥🖤🖤🖤,” one fan wrote, as rapper Ice Spice dropped a heart-eye emoji. “We love jet black!!!” another follower praised, “Obsessed w this hair🖤.”
Jenner’s coiffure has been a huge topic of conversation as of late.
Elsewhere on social media, Jenner shared throwback photos of her King Kylie Era, taking Us back to her “King Kylie” teal-blue mane in 2015, which she resurrected last a mere month ago. (Can you even blame her? If we looked that good with blue hair, we would have brought back the hue, too.)

At the time, her robin’s egg hair was parted to the side and styled in relaxed beachy waves. She wrapped up in a towel while enjoying a cup of coffee in her backyard.
Fans went wild over her vibrant locks, commenting via Instagram, “King Kylie is backkkkkk 🩵.” Another even joked, “I hope you trademarked this color.” Sound advice, indeed.
